This concept, also known as Automotive Campus' so-called soft landing programme, provides an ideal environment for companies to take their first steps on our campus. We look forward to these new parties not only occupying a physical space, but also finding their way into the rich ecosystem of our campus.

Commuting up to 20 kilometres (one way) should be possible in a smarter way. Based on personal experience, the founders of Urban Mobility Group decided to develop an entirely new two-wheeler concept. In doing so, UMG bridges the gap between the comfort of a car on the one hand and the efficiency of a bicycle on the other. From a design perspective, they combined their experience in designing cars, among other things, with design standards for bicycles. This has resulted in a unique approach: lightweight construction methods and the use of standard bicycle components, combined with automotive design elements. This results in a unique rider experience: a revolutionary new design that is comfortable, safe, innovative and affordable to provide for our daily commute. Over the past few years, UMG, together with TU/e and other partners within the Brainport region, among others, have been quietly working on this development. Now they are ready to take the final steps before launching their new concept on the market: the 'Brainport bike'.
