Helmond, 23 October 2025 – Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg’s leading innovation hub Technoport have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a transnational testing and innovation corridor dedicated to the development of smart, safe and sustainable mobility.
The collaboration connects two of Europe’s most dynamic ecosystems for automobility startups, scaleups and leading companies. By sharing expertise, infrastructure and networks, both partners aim to strengthen cross-border innovation and accelerate the adoption of next-generation vehicle technologies.
The agreement sets the framework for practical cooperation that removes geographical barriers and facilitates international access to testing and validation facilities. The success of this partnership is already visible: TNO’s world-class laboratories, situated within the Dutch Automotive Campus, were successfully leveraged by EPR Mobility for testing of its cutting-edge powertrain technology. This test showcases the power of accessible international test beds and validates the "International Corridors" concept in action.
The MOU outlines several areas of cooperation, including:
- Shared use of living labs and test beds for prototyping and validation;
- Creation of data hubs and structured knowledge exchange programs;
- Joint research and innovation projects;
- Stronger connections with corporate partners in both ecosystems;
- Organization of international delegations and events to increase visibility and investment opportunities.
As part of Brainport Eindhoven – internationally recognized as the jewel of the Dutch high-tech industry – Automotive Campus plays a key role in shaping the future of smart, safe and sustainable mobility in Europe.
