The collaboration between the Rotterdam Mainport and the Brainport region is taking increasingly concrete shape. During a recent visit, the focus was on building relationships, gaining a better understanding of each other’s agendas and interests, and exploring opportunities to strengthen one another. The meeting also looked ahead to the next steps in deepening the partnership.
On 26 September, a follow-up meeting will take place, with the Rotterdam Mainport visiting the Brainport region, including the Automotive Campus. This visit will be dedicated to further exploring the central themes of hydrogen and CCAM (Connected, Cooperative & Automated Mobility).
The aim of this collaboration is to connect Brainport’s innovative strength with the international reach of the Rotterdam port area. By working together on solutions in the fields of hydrogen and smart mobility, both regions seek to contribute to the energy transition and to further advancing sustainability in the Netherlands.
