As part of our summer board meeting, top management from Fujipoly visited the Automotive Campus in the Netherlands on the afternoon of Monday, June 30th. The visit included Mr. Fujimoto and guests from Japan and the USA, and was warmly received by all involved. Mr. Fujimoto emphasized the strategic importance of the Automotive Campus to Fujipoly’s global team, highlighting its relevance in the context of innovation and collaboration.
During the visit, the delegation also shared insights about Chugai Co., Ltd., presented by President Yoshikatsu Miwa, who also serves as a part-time Director at Fuji Polymer Industries. Chugai is a Tier-1 supplier of silencer parts to Japanese automotive manufacturers and is now exploring potential business opportunities in Europe. The Automotive Campus proved to be an ideal setting for President Miwa to better understand the European mobility ecosystem and how it could support such expansion efforts.
A key topic during the discussions was thermal management in System-on-Chip (SoC) technology—an essential element for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Global players like NXP, with their expertise in SoC, were highlighted as critical partners in this domain.
