At Automotive Campus in Helmond, innovation in mobility is not only developed and tested — it also becomes visible in the surrounding environment.
At the end of March, the cycling path leading to the campus was equipped with projected road markings, in collaboration with the Municipality of Helmond and EPEON. By projecting clear light lines onto the road surface, the route becomes more visible in darker conditions and easier to follow for cyclists.
This type of application contributes to a safer and more intuitive traffic environment. It supports guidance on less illuminated routes and can draw attention to specific situations, such as crossings or sharp turns. At the same time, it offers an energy-efficient alternative to traditional lighting, with minimal light dispersion.
