Every year, Hightech Helmond–De Peel hosts the Hotspot as part of the Hightech Discovery Route—a hands-on, inspiring event where children and their families discover how surprising, versatile, and close-to-home technology really is. No long explanations, just seeing, feeling, and trying.
From smart machines and sustainable energy to food tech and digital innovations, young visitors experience how technology shapes everyday life—and the jobs of tomorrow. Local schools participate with pre-event projects, allowing students to showcase their work to family and friends at the Hotspot.
The event connects children and families with real professionals, real machines, and real challenges, showing that a future in technology is not only possible, but exciting, creative, and fun.
