As part of the IFAC Symposium on Advances in Automotive Control (AAC), the Automotive Campus welcomed over 100 international researchers and professionals in the field of automotive systems, control and mobility innovation.
The day featured inspiring keynote speeches by Prof. Gregory Plett and Ralph Kwakernaak (DAF Trucks NV), followed by a dynamic campus visit filled with demonstrations and interaction. Delegates experienced the latest in smart and sustainable transport through demos by TNO, NPS Driven, VDL Groep, InMotion, and IM Efficiency — all highlighting the cutting-edge innovation thriving within our ecosystem.
An additional highlight was the "Bike Tour of the Future," organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Helmond, where guests discovered how smart cycling infrastructure and app-based traffic management are helping to shape future mobility.
The day concluded with a festive banquet at the DAF Museum in Eindhoven — a fitting venue to celebrate the intersection of technology, heritage and international collaboration in automotive innovation.
We’re proud to have hosted this important part of the AAC 2025 symposium and thank all partners, demo contributors and guests for their energy, expertise and enthusiasm.
