Tomorrow's mobility depends on cooperation.
Electric vehicles, smart charging solutions, autonomous technology and data-driven infrastructure are developing rapidly — but without shared standards, connected energy systems and open data, the real transition will not happen.
At the Automotive Campus in Helmond, a unique ecosystem of more than 65 companies, knowledge institutions, start-ups and government bodies is working on precisely that system change. Managing director Sascha Bloemhoff compares this phase to the digitisation of payment transactions: it was only when IBAN, BIC and SWIFT were introduced that the system could truly be innovated.
From smart grids and batteries to vehicles that function as mobile data sources, the campus demonstrates how technology, energy and infrastructure must grow together to make mobility smart, clean and safe.
